Beharbari is a locality in the southern part of Guwahati, Assam, India. It lies near National Highway 27 and borders the areas of Lalmati and Lokhra. It is a busy local commercial hub. The Accountant General Employees’ Residential Complex is located there, and there is a Maruti Suzuki service station run by Bimal Auto Agency. The name Beharbari comes from two Kamrupi Assamese words: 'behar' meaning mustard and 'bari' meaning an enclosed ground with a plantation. Beharbari Outpost is an Assamese comedy TV series about the Beharbari police station.
