Bantam Cider

Bantam Cider was a private hard cider company based in Somerville, Massachusetts. It was founded in 2012 by Dana Masterpolo and Michelle da Silva and produced three bottled ciders, including Wunderkind, with ABV from 5.4% to 6.9%. Bantam Cider distributed to Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York and Illinois. The founders started the business in Cambridge, Massachusetts and released Wunderkind in January 2012. In 2013, the company moved to Union Square in Somerville to a new production facility in the old White Rose Baking Company building. In March 2014, Bantam Cider opened an on-premises all-cider taproom, the first of its kind in Massachusetts.
