Bank of America Tower (Phoenix)
Bank of America Tower is a downtown Phoenix skyscraper at 201 E. Washington Street. It’s the centerpiece of the Collier Center, a mixed‑use office and entertainment complex. Completed in 2000, the building stands about 360 feet tall and has 24 floors (there is no floor 13). Bank of America uses the tower as its state headquarters, with a branch and the main lobby on the second floor, and floors 19–24 occupied by the bank.
Designed in a postmodern style by Opus Architects & Engineers, the tower is part of a larger office complex in downtown Phoenix. In January 2008, the north face showed a graphic of the Vince Lombardi Trophy for Super Bowl XLII, spanning 18 floors. In February 2009, the east and south faces carried T-Mobile ads for the NBA All-Star Game. Elite Media installed Phoenix’s largest exterior ad on the south and east façades, totaling 53,694 square feet across about 1,400 panels. The installation took two weeks with five installers working from scaffolding on the 380-foot façade.
