Clément Bayiha
Clément Yvan Landry Bayiha is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a defender for FC Supra du Québec in the Canadian Premier League. Born on March 8, 1999, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, he moved to France as a child and later settled in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada.
Youth and early career
- Grew up playing in France with US Bain de Bretagne and AS Blainville in Canada.
- Joined the Montreal Impact Academy in 2016 and trained with the CF Montréal first team in 2018.
Professional career
- 2018: Ottawa Fury FC (USL) – 2 appearances. Shortly after, loaned to CF Montréal.
- 2018–2021: CF Montréal (MLS) – 25 appearances. Signed as a Homegrown player in 2018; CF Montréal later rebranded from Montreal Impact.
- 2022: HamKam (Norway, Eliteserien) – 8 appearances. Returned to Canada after limited playing time.
- 2023–2024: York United (Canadian Premier League) – 31 appearances and 2 goals. Injuries delayed his debut in 2023.
- 2024: HFX Wanderers (loan) – 18 appearances.
- 2025: Þór Akureyri (Iceland, 1. deild) – 18 appearances and 3 goals.
- 2026: FC Supra du Québec (Canadian Premier League) – joined on a one-year contract with an option for 2027; current status with the club as of signing.
International career
- Canada U20: 5 caps, 1 goal in 2018.
- Canada U21: 2 caps in 2018, participated in the Toulon Tournament and the U20/U21 programs.
