Bai Lu (actress)
Bai Lu, born Bai Mengyan on September 23, 1994, in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China, is a Chinese actress, model, and singer. Her stage name means “white deer.” She studied at the Changzhou Technical Institute of Tourism and Commerce and started as a model in 2015. In 2016 she signed with Huanyu Film and began acting in TV series.
She rose to fame with Untouchable Lovers (2018), in which she played dual roles, earning a Best Newcomer award. She then starred in The Legends (2019) and Arsenal Military Academy (2019), gaining wide recognition. In 2020 she led Love Is Sweet and appeared in Jiu Liu Overlord. In 2021 she starred in One and Only, a popular romance series that led to a sequel, Forever and Ever.
In 2022 she appeared in Ordinary Greatness and Till the End of the Moon, which set online records. In 2023 she played Jiang Xuening in Story of Kunning Palace, a female-led drama that achieved high online popularity.
Bai Lu is a brand ambassador for many brands, including Michael Kors, Chopard, Hourglass, and Olay, among others. By 2023, she had around 20 million followers on Weibo.
