Badger, Alaska
Badger is a census-designated place in the Fairbanks North Star Borough of Alaska, United States. It sits along Badger Road, a side road of the Richardson Highway between Fairbanks and North Pole, and this road provides most access to the community.
Badger covers about 66.7 square miles in total (roughly 65.6 square miles of land and 1.1 square miles of water). The population was 19,031 at the 2020 census, down from 19,482 in 2010. It is a major community within the Fairbanks metropolitan area and ranks as the fifth-most-populated Alaska place behind Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Knik-Fairview.
Badger first appeared on the 2010 census as a census-designated place, with a population of 19,482. In 2010, there were about 109.9 males for every 100 females. The location is around 64.8053°N, 147.4103°W.
