"Something Old, Something New" is a 1951 country song written by Eddy Arnold, Cy Coben, and Charles Grean, and performed by Eddy Arnold. Released by RCA Victor, the 2:47 track reached No. 4 on the country jukebox chart in July 1951 and stayed on the chart for nine weeks. It was the No. 22 country jukebox record of 1951. The song uses the old rhyme "something old, something new" to tell of heartbreak after his lover leaves him for another. The memory of her is described as something old (his love), something new (her new love), something borrowed (his heart), and something blue (the singer).
