B.P.M.: The Very Best of the Beat is a greatest-hits album by the British ska/new wave band the Beat, released in January 1996. The deluxe edition adds a second CD with extended remixes and dub versions. Most tracks are written by the Beat. Produced by Bob Sargeant, it was released on Go-Feet and Arista. The album features the band's ska, new wave, and dub songs. In the Beat's discography, it sits after What Is Beat? (1983) and before Beat This! The Best of the Beat (2000).
