Aspasia silvana

Aspasia silvana is a species of orchid in the family Orchidaceae. Its binomial name is Aspasia silvana F. Barros (1988).

This plant is endemic to eastern Brazil, living in the Serra do Mar mountains from Rio de Janeiro to Bahia. It forms large colonies but is not very common, and it is typically found where shady forest areas meet open spaces, in both rain forests and cloud montane forests.
