Arthur Hughes (Scottish footballer)

Arthur Hughes (23 November 1927 – 31 October 2015) was a Scottish footballer who played as an inside forward. He was born in Linlithgow, Scotland, and stood 6 feet tall. His career included time with Jeanfield Swifts, Notts County, Nottingham Forest, Canterbury City, Grimsby Town (25 games, 11 goals), Gillingham (5 games, 1 goal), and Dover. He died in Medway, England, on 31 October 2015 at the age of 87.
