Arroyo, West Virginia
Arroyo is an unincorporated community in Hancock County, West Virginia, United States. It is also known as Brooklyn. The name comes from nearby Dry Creek; “arroyo” means a dry creek in Spanish. Arroyo sits about 686 feet (209 meters) above sea level and is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST in winter, EDT in summer). The coordinates are 40°34′12″N 80°39′23″W.
