Apple M5 overview

Apple M5 is an ARM-based system-on-a-chip designed by Apple. It was announced on October 15, 2025 and powers the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Apple Vision Pro. Built on a 3-nanometer process by TSMC, the M5 stacks CPU, GPU, and a neural engine in one chip.
