Apaadi is a 2009 Nigerian film in Yoruba. It is the first epic project produced by Funke Akindele, who also stars in the movie as the King's niece. The film features a large cast, including Funke Akindele, Femi Adebayo, Yinka Quadri, Taiwo Hassan, Adebayo Salami, Ronke Odusanya, Peju Ogunmola, Opeyemi Aiyeola, Sola Kosoko, Moji Olaiya, Lola Margret, and Peter Fatomilola. Produced by Scene One Productions and distributed by Olasco Films Nig. Ltd., Apaadi earned nominations at the 2009 Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Film in an African Language and for Achievement in Costume. Femi Adebayo was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role.
