Any Day Now is a song written in 1962 by Burt Bacharach and Bob Hilliard. It has been recorded by many artists, with notable versions by Chuck Jackson (1962), Elvis Presley (1969), Alan Price (1965), Scott Walker (1973), and Ronnie Milsap (1982). The lyrics describe a relationship that is ending and the sadness that follows.

Chuck Jackson gave the first big hit version in 1962, released as "Any Day Now (My Wild Beautiful Bird)." It reached No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent six weeks in the Top 40, plus No. 2 on the Hot Black Singles chart. Jackson’s version was included on his album also titled Any Day Now.

Elvis Presley recorded a cover in 1969 during Memphis sessions for the From Elvis in Memphis album; it appeared on that album and was the B-side to the No. 3 US pop hit "In the Ghetto."

Ronnie Milsap released the best-known modern version in 1982 as the lead single from Inside. It peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent nine weeks in the Top 40. It also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart for one week and on the Hot Adult Contemporary Singles chart for five weeks, and it topped the Canadian Country and Canadian Adult Contemporary charts. Producer Tom Collins encouraged a softer, lower-key arrangement in a different key.
