Anton Barnard
Anton Stephanus Barnard, born 7 April 1958 in George, Western Cape, is a former South African rugby union player. A loosehead prop, he stood 1.81 m tall and weighed 106 kg. He went to Cillie High School in Port Elizabeth. Barnard played for Eastern Province from 1981 to 1988, making 82 appearances. He represented South Africa from 1984 to 1986, earning four Test caps. He made his Springboks debut on 20 October 1984 against the South American Jaguars at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria.
