Anthony Brenner (born November 28, 1959) is a Canadian-born German former professional ice hockey forward. Born in Calgary, Alberta, he is 6 ft 1 in tall and weighed 185 lb during his playing days. Brenner shot left and spent 18 seasons playing in Germany, for teams including Deggendorf Fire, Düsseldorfer EG, Krefeld Pinguine, SV Bayreuth, EC Bad Tölz, and Straubing Tigers. He was undrafted in the NHL, with a career spanning 1980 to 1998. After retiring, he moved into coaching and began in the 2010-11 season as the head coach of Deggendorfer SC’s U16 team, a role he has held since.
