Anna-Karin Olsson
Anna-Karin Olsson (born 10 May 1967) is a Swedish former professional tennis player and bandy forward. She grew up in Värmland, Sweden.
Tennis career:
Olsson played on the professional tour in the 1980s. Her best singles ranking was 248, reached on 21 December 1986, and her best doubles ranking was 123, on 29 August 1988. She won 1 ITF singles title and 1 ITF doubles title. In doubles, she reached the final of the 1988 Spanish Open. She also played in the main draws of the French Open and US Open in 1988, and she reached the Wimbledon doubles qualifying round 2 in 1986.
Bandy career:
Olsson played as a forward in bandy. She started at IF Boltic and stayed there until 1989. From 1989 to 2004 she played for AIK and was part of eight AIK championship-winning teams, giving her a total of 12 league titles (four with Boltic). She was the league’s top shooter in 1998, 1999 and 2001. In 2016 she was inducted into the Swedish Bandy Hall of Fame.
