David Moroder (28 January 1931 – 10 March 1997) was an Italian luger and sculptor from Ortisei in Val Gardena. He came from the Moroder craftsman family and had four sons, including Walter Moroder, who is a sculptor working with wood and bronze. Moroder drew inspiration from his brother Rudolf Moroder and from Augusto Murer. He worked with private and public clients and exhibited his art regionally.

As a luger, Moroder competed from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. He finished third in the men's singles at the 1959 Luge World Championships in Villard-de-Lans. In 1961 he won a silver medal in the doubles, partnering with Raimondo Prinoth, at the World Championships in Girenbad.
