Ann Walton Kroenke
Ann Walton Kroenke (born December 18, 1948) is an American billionaire and Walmart heiress. She and her sister Nancy Walton Laurie inherited Walmart stock from their father, Bud Walton, who co-founded Walmart with his brother Sam Walton. Ann owns the Denver Nuggets (NBA) and the Colorado Avalanche (NHL). Her husband, Stan Kroenke, is the majority owner and CEO of several sports teams, including the Los Angeles Rams (NFL), Arsenal (Premier League), Colorado Rapids (MLS), and Colorado Mammoth (NLL). As of 2024, her net worth is about $10 billion. She was born in Bentonville, Arkansas, and after Bud Walton’s death in 1995 she inherited a large Walmart stake. Ann and Stan Kroenke have two children.
