Amblyptilia japonica is a moth in the plume moth family, Pterophoridae. It is found in Japan (on the island of Honshu) and in Korea. The forewings are about 10 to 11.5 millimeters long. The species was described in 1963 by Yano and has also been known as Platyptilia japonica (a synonym).
