Allier's 1st constituency
Allier’s 1st constituency is a French legislative district in the northeast of the Allier department. It includes the town of Moulins and has about 77,700 residents. In 2017, Jean Mallot ran as a dissident Socialist candidate within the NUPES alliance, so his Socialist result from 2017 is counted in the NUPES total for swing calculations. Mallot’s swing is measured against his 2017 result. The current deputy is Yannick Monnet of the Communist Party (PCF).
