Alison Elliott (born May 19, 1970) is an American actress from San Francisco, California. She began modeling at age 14 with Ford Models and moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to star in the TV show Living Dolls. Elliott gained film recognition with The Underneath (1995) and earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for The Wings of the Dove (1997). Her other film credits include The Spitfire Grill (1996), The Miracle Worker (2000), Birth (2004), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), and 20th Century Women (2016). She also appeared in the BBC mini-series The Buccaneers (1995) as Virginia “Jinny” St. George. Born to Barbara, a nursing teacher, and Bob Elliott, a computer executive, she spent part of her childhood in Tokyo before returning to San Francisco and attending the Urban School of San Francisco. Elliott has narrated several audiobooks, including Belle Prater’s Boy and its sequel.
