Alika, born Alicia Dal Monte Campuzano on 28 June 1977 in Montevideo, Uruguay, is a Uruguayan–Argentine rapper, singer, songwriter, and reggae musician. She leads the reggae group Alika & Nueva Alianza and works in rap, reggae and dancehall.

She is the daughter of a Paraguayan mother and a Uruguayan father. When she was six, her family moved to Argentina, living in El Jagüel and later San Martín in Buenos Aires Province.

In 1994, she formed the duo Actitud María Marta with Malena D’Alessio, one of the earliest all-female rap groups in Argentina and Latin America. In 1995 they were named the “Revelation Band” by Clarín Sí. They released the album Acorralar a la Bestia in 1996 under Polygram. Alika left the group after the album’s release and started exploring reggae and Rastafari culture.

In 1999 she began a solo project inspired by Rastafari philosophy. Her first solo album, No Dejes que te paren, came out in 2001 (Indie) with producer MC Boomer, and she started performing live that year. She released Sin Intermediarios in 2003 and Razón Meditación Acción in 2006. In 2013, she collaborated with Argentine cumbia band La Liga on the song “Yo Tengo el Don,” which was featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto V on the East Los FM radio station.
