Alexander Roy MacGregor Grier, usually known as Roy M. Grier, (8 May 1877 – 1 February 1940) was an Anglican priest and schoolmaster. He studied history at Denstone College and at Oxford. After university he began teaching at Worksop College in 1900 and was ordained in 1903. He became headmaster of Worksop in 1905 and led a large building programme, including a new chapel. From 1915 to 1919 he was headmaster of Bloxham School, guiding it through World War I. He then returned to lead his old school from 1919 to 1931. In 1931 he became Rural Dean of Switzerland. Later he served as Provost of St Ninian's Cathedral, Perth from 1936 until his death in 1940. His son, Anthony MacGregor Grier, was born on 12 April 1911.
