Act III is the third studio album by The Seldom Scene, an American progressive bluegrass band. It was released in 1973 and recorded on July 15 and 21, 1973 at ITI Recordings, Inc. Studio. The album, which features the band’s "classic" lineup, falls under bluegrass and progressive bluegrass. It was released by Rebel and produced by Gary B. Reid. In the band’s chronology, it comes after Act II (1973) and before Old Train (1973).
