Gregory Curtis Horn (born May 6, 1953) is a retired rear admiral in the United States Navy and a Presbyterian minister. He served as the 17th Deputy Chief of Chaplains for Reserve Matters and Director of Religious Programs, Marine Forces Reserve, from October 7, 2010, to October 1, 2013.

Early life and education
Horn was born in Pasadena, California. He began his college studies at the University of Southern California and finished at Point Loma Nazarene University, where he earned a BA in Psychology in 1976. He then studied at Fuller Theological Seminary, earning an MDiv in 1979, a DMin in 1985, and a PhD in Practical Theology and Ethics in 2007.

Military career
Horn was commissioned as a lieutenant in 1988. His Navy Reserve assignments included time with USS Bristol County (LST-1198), Naval Hospital San Diego, and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 17, as well as duties as Assistant Fleet Chaplain for the Commander of Submarine Forces Pacific. In the Marine Corps Reserve, he served as command chaplain for the 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, the 23rd Marine Regiment, and Marine Aircraft Group 46. In February 2003, he was recalled to active duty for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom as Command Chaplain for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and later as the acting Wing Chaplain.

After mobilization, Horn returned to the Reserve and was named Deputy Force Chaplain, Reserve Matters, Marine Forces Pacific. He was promoted to captain in December 2006 and became Deputy Chaplain of the Marine Corps for Reserve Matters at Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps in the Pentagon. In December 2009 he was named Deputy Chaplain for the Commander Navy Installations Command at the Washington Navy Yard. On October 7, 2010, he was promoted to rear admiral (lower half) and served on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations as the 17th Deputy Chief of Chaplains for Reserve Matters and Director of Religious Programs, Marine Forces Reserve. He retired from the Navy on October 1, 2013.

Pastoral work and family
Horn has been the Pastor and Head of Staff at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bakersfield, California, since January 1986. He is married to Katherine Marie (Mackel) Horn, a CPA. They have two children: Jessica, who is a Navy chaplain on active duty, and Evans, who works as a beverage director in the hotel and restaurant industry.

Awards
His decorations include the Legion of Merit (two awards), the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), and the Navy Achievement Medal (three awards). He has also received the Presidential Unit Citation, the Navy Unit Citation, the Navy and Marine Corps Meritorious Unit Citation, the Fleet Marine Force ribbon, and other service awards.
