Abi Norgrove
Abi Norgrove (full name Abigale Emma Molly Norgrove) was born on 17 January 2006 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England. She is a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler who plays for Oxfordshire and Southern Vipers.
- Debut and early years: She started with Oxfordshire in 2019, making her county debut against Wiltshire and taking 2 for 12 off 4 overs. She also played in the 2019 Women's Twenty20 Cup.
- 2021–2022 highlights: She was Oxfordshire’s joint-leading wicket-taker in the 2021 WT20 Cup with 5 wickets at an average of 13.80, and she again took 5 wickets in the 2022 WT20 Cup.
- Southern Vipers pathway: Norgrove was part of the Southern Vipers Academy from 2021 to 2023. In August 2022, she scored an unbeaten 136 not out for the Vipers Academy against Northern Diamonds Academy.
- Senior debut with Southern Vipers: She first joined a matchday squad for the senior team on 1 July 2023 and made her debut on 2 July 2023 against Sunrisers in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. She played five matches in 2023, scoring 83 runs with a high score of 48.
- 2024 season: She played ten matches for the Southern Vipers in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, scoring 205 runs, including one half-century.
- Career stats (highlights): In Women's List A (WLA), she has 17 matches and 315 runs at an average of 22.50, with a top score of 64 and 2 wickets. In Women's Twenty20 (WT20), she has 28 matches and 487 runs at 25.63, with a top score of 84*, and 12 wickets.
