Abdulrahman Akkari

Abdulrahman Akkari (born 3 March 1984 in Homs, Syria) is a former Syrian footballer who played as a striker. He began his career with Al-Karamah in the Syrian Premier League, scoring his first competitive goal in May 2004. In May 2005 he scored a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Al-Shorta. He helped Al-Karamah win the league title in 2006, even scoring a hat-trick in the 4-1 victory that clinched the championship. That year the team also reached the AFC Champions League final for the first time, finishing runners-up after a 3-2 aggregate defeat to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors; Akkari came on as a late substitute in the second leg after being left out of the first leg.

After leaving Al-Karamah, he played for several clubs across Syria, Jordan, Oman and Lebanon, including Shabab Al-Ordon, Al-Nawair, Tishreen, Al-Wahda, Al-Jaish, Manshia Bani Hassan, Tripoli, and Al-Safa. He finished his career with Tripoli in Lebanon, where he scored 16 goals in 29 appearances during 2013–2014.
