Charles Alcock (priest)
Charles Alcock (1754–1803) was an English clergyman who served as Archdeacon of Chichester from 15 May 1802 until his death on 10 September 1803. He was the son of the Reverend John Alcock, rector of Bucknell, Oxfordshire. Alcock studied at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, matriculating in 1773, and earned a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) at New College in 1782. Earlier, he was Rector of Trotton from 1781 to 1782. He was also a prebendary of Chichester Cathedral and served as Chaplain to the Bishop of Chichester before his appointment as Archdeacon.
