AS Ponta Leste
AS Ponta Leste, full name Associação Sportivo e Ponta Leste, is a professional football club from Dili, East Timor. It was founded in 1991. They play home games at Municipal Stadium in Dili, which has a capacity of 5,000. The club is owned by Inácio Moreira Osório Florindo, who is the chairman, and its manager is Eduardo Pereira.
They compete in the Liga Futebol Timor-Leste (the top division). Their best season came in 2016, when they won the Taça 12 de Novembro by beating Assalam FC 1-0 in the final, and the Super Taça against Benfica Laulara 2-1. Since then they have not won other major trophies. For 2025, they are competing in Liga Futebol Timor-Leste.
