A New Day Has Come is a song by Canadian singer Celine Dion from her seventh English-language album, also called A New Day Has Come (2002). The track was written by Aldo Nova and Stephan Moccio and produced by Walter Afanasieff and Aldo Nova, with Ric Wake contributing to the radio remix. It has two main versions: a piano-driven ballad in 6/8 time and a midtempo radio edit in 4/4 time, both in the key of F-sharp major. The ballad is slow, while the radio remix adds guitars and electronic elements.

Released as the album’s lead single on March 11, 2002, the song marked Dion’s return after taking time off to have her son René-Charles Angélil. Dion has said the song represents the birth of her child and the courage to find strength again, though its lyrics speak to broader themes of hope for anyone facing life’s challenges. Critics praised Dion’s vocal performance and the uplifting message.

The music video, directed by Dave Meyers and filmed in West Palm Beach, Florida, features Dion singing among the clouds and on a beach, using the radio remix version of the song.

Commercially, the song did well worldwide. It reached the top ten in several countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom, and peaked at No. 22 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It topped the U.S. Adult Contemporary chart for 21 weeks, a record at the time. The song also charted strongly in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Poland (where it was a major hit, including seven weeks at No. 1), and it earned Gold certifications in Australia and Norway. It appeared on Dion’s compilations My Love: Essential Collection, Complete Best, Ultimate Box, and The Best So Far... 2018 Tour Edition, among others.

A New Day Has Come won ASCAP and BMI Pop Awards for Most Performed Song and received SOCAN honors, while earning Juno Award and Billboard nominations. Dion promoted the song with TV appearances and live performances, including Wetten, dass..?, Rockin’ for the USA, and her Las Vegas show A New Day... She later performed it in various formats during television appearances and concerts.

In 2025, Swedish DJ Sebastian Ingrosso released a separate track called "A New Day" featuring Celine Dion, which remixes "A New Day Has Come."
