A Kurt Weill Cabaret
A Kurt Weill Cabaret is a musical show featuring Kurt Weill’s songs. It began Off-Broadway in 1963 as The World of Kurt Weill in Song, at One Sheridan Square in New York, with Will Holt and Martha Schlamme. In 1979 it was rewritten as A Kurt Weill Cabaret and moved to Broadway’s Bijou Theatre, starring Martha Schlamme and Alvin Epstein; it ran for 72 performances. The show later played at the Harold Clurman Theatre (now Theatre Five) in 1984. A recording of the original 1963 production was released by MGM Records.
