45th Berlin International Film Festival
The 45th Berlin International Film Festival took place in Berlin, Germany, from February 9 to 22, 1995. A total of 363 films were shown. The main competition jury was led by Lia van Leer, an Israeli film programmer. The Golden Bear winner was The Bait, directed by Bertrand Tavernier. A retrospective focused on American actor Buster Keaton. The festival announced its jury, the films in competition for the Golden Bear and Silver Bears, and the prizes awarded by the jury.
