2026 FIFA World Cup qualification – CAF Group I
CAF Group I for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification included Mali, Ghana, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Comoros and Chad. Ghana won the group and qualified directly for the World Cup. Madagascar finished second but were eliminated as one of the five worst runners-up. A total of 85 goals were scored in 30 matches, averaging 2.83 goals per game.
