Gene Lambert (April 26, 1921 – February 10, 2000) was an American baseball pitcher who played for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball. Born in Crenshaw, Mississippi, he batted and threw right-handed. He started his pro career in 1939 and made his MLB debut on September 14, 1941. About ten days later, he earned his only major league decision in a 2–0 loss to the New York Giants at Shibe Park. His MLB career ended in 1942. His stats include a win–loss record of 0–1, an ERA of 2.70, and 4 strikeouts.

Lambert served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945. After the war, he played in the minor leagues in 1946. He died in Germantown, Tennessee, on February 10, 2000, at age 78.
