2025 Dutch Darts Championship
The 2025 Dutch Darts Championship, sponsored as the 2025 Elten Safety Shoes Dutch Darts Championship, was the seventh of 14 PDC European Tour events on the 2025 PDC Pro Tour. It was held at the Autotron in Rosmalen, Netherlands, from 23 to 25 May 2025. The event featured 48 players with a prize fund of £175,000, and £30,000 was awarded to the winner.
Defending champion Josh Rock, who beat Jonny Clayton in the 2024 final, was defeated in the second round this year by Ricardo Pietreczko (6–4). Jonny Clayton claimed the title, his third European Tour win, by beating Niko Springer 8–6 in the final.
The tournament introduced a seeding change: the top 16 players on the two-year main PDC Order of Merit entered in the second round, while the 16 qualifiers from the one-year PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit began in the first round. The 16 Pro Tour qualifiers were drawn against another set of qualifiers in the first round. Seedings were confirmed on 9 May.
There were 16 places filled from four qualifying events: 10 from the Tour Card Holder Qualifier (14 May), 4 from the Host Nation Qualifier (22 May), 1 from the Nordic & Baltic Associate Member Qualifier (9 May), and 1 from the East European Associate Member Qualifier (15 Feb). Rob Cross and Gary Anderson withdrew and were replaced by Ricardo Pietreczko and Martin Lukeman. Ryan Searle and Michael Smith moved to seeds 15 and 16. After the draw, Gerwyn Price withdrew and was replaced by William O’Connor, who started in the second round. Michael van Gerwen withdrew during the tournament, giving Mickey Mansell a bye to the third round.
