Dennis Lota (8 November 1973 – 4 February 2014) was a Zambian football striker who played for clubs in Zambia, Switzerland and South Africa, and for the Zambia national team. Born in Kitwe, he began his career with Zanaco in 1989, then moved to Nchanga Rangers, Kabwe Warriors and Konkola Blades. At Konkola Blades, he developed into a top striker and won the Golden Boot in 1995.

Lota later played abroad for Sion in Switzerland and Orlando Pirates in South Africa, and also had spells with Espérance, Dangerous Darkies, Moroka Swallows, FC AK, AmaZulu and Mpumalanga Black Aces. Internationally, he earned 78 caps and scored 21 goals for Zambia, and appeared in four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments (1996, 1998, 2000, 2002). His brothers Charles and Lawrence Lota are also footballers.

In 2011, he was named as an assistant coach at Moroka Swallows. Lota died on 4 February 2014 in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the age of 40 after a brief illness, with malaria suspected.
