The Illawarra Hawks’ 2021–22 season was the team’s 44th in the National Basketball League (NBL). Head coach Brian Goorjian and captain Andrew Ogilvy led the team, which played its home games at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre.
They finished with a 19–9 record (67.9%), placing second on the ladder. In the finals, the Hawks reached the semifinals but were defeated by the Sydney Kings 0–2.
