2021 Nassau County Executive election

The Nassau County Executive election was held on November 2, 2021. Incumbent Democrat Laura Curran ran for re-election against Republican Bruce Blakeman, a former adviser to a county official. Blakeman won in a close race, with 142,635 votes (50.35%) to Curran’s 140,489 votes (49.59%), a margin of 2,146 votes. Blakeman became the new Nassau County Executive, succeeding Curran. The election took place on the same day as Nassau County Legislature elections.
