2021 Big Ten Conference men's soccer season
The 2021 Big Ten Conference men's soccer season was the 31st season of men’s varsity soccer in the Big Ten. The regular season started in August 2021 and ended in October 2021. The season finished with the Big Ten Tournament from November 7–14, 2021, which determined the conference’s automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Tournament.
Context from the previous season: The 2020 season was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and was moved to early 2021, running from February 3 to April 17, 2021. Indiana defeated Penn State in the Big Ten Championship. Indiana earned the conference’s automatic NCAA bid, while Maryland and Penn State received at-large bids. Maryland reached the Second Round, Penn State reached the Third Round, and Indiana advanced to the NCAA Championship game.
Preseason notes: A preseason poll released on August 23, 2021, selected Indiana unanimously as the favorite to win the Big Ten. National preseason polls were released in August 2021.
The Big Ten Tournament took place from November 7–14, 2021.
