Kaminieli Aria
Kaminieli Tako Aria (1921–1967) was a Fijian cricketer. Born in Fiji in 1921, he died in 1967 at about 45 or 46 years old. He played for Fiji on their 1948 tour of New Zealand. His first-class debut came against Auckland, and he also played two more first-class matches against Otago and Auckland.
In three first-class games, Aria scored 114 runs with a highest score of 46 and an average of 19.00. He bowled 294 balls, took 3 wickets with a best of 3/66 and a bowling average of 44.66. He also took four catches. On the 1948 tour he played seven additional non-first-class matches.
Off the field, Aria served as a corporal in the Fijian police and weighed 16 stone (224 pounds).
