2019 COSAFA Women's Championship
The 2019 COSAFA Women's Championship was the seventh edition of the Southern Africa women's international football tournament organized by COSAFA. It ran from 31 July to 11 August 2019 in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa, with two venues in the area.
Twelve teams from one confederation competed in the tournament. Comoros joined for the first time, and Eswatini returned after not competing in the previous year. The draw on 3 July split the teams into three groups of four. The group winners and the best runner-up advanced to the semi-finals.
South Africa won the title, their sixth COSAFA Women's Championship, defeating Zambia in the final. Zimbabwe finished third and Botswana fourth. Across 22 matches, 117 goals were scored, an average of 5.32 per match.
The top scorer was Racheal Nachula with 10 goals. The best player was Hellen Mubanga, and the best goalkeeper was Andile Dlamini.
