2015–16 Stony Brook Seawolves women's basketball team
The 2015–16 Stony Brook Seawolves women's basketball team represented Stony Brook University in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I season. Led by second-year head coach Caroline McCombs, they played their home games at the Island Federal Credit Union Arena and competed in the America East Conference. They finished with a 17–15 overall record and 8–8 in conference play, tying for fourth place in the America East. In the America East tournament, they reached the semifinals but lost to Maine. They received an invitation to the Women's Basketball Invitational, where they were defeated by Youngstown State in the first round. Assistant coaches were Chenel Harris, Adam Call, and Kelly Rotan.
