2015–16 FC Ingolstadt 04 season
FC Ingolstadt 04's 2015–16 season was their 12th in club history and their first in the Bundesliga. Under chairman Peter Jackwerth and head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl, they played at the Audi Sportpark and finished 11th in the league. In the DFB-Pokal they were eliminated in the first round. Moritz Hartmann was the club’s top scorer with 12 goals in all competitions (12 in the league). The team averaged 14,815 spectators per home game, with a high of 15,617 against Bayern Munich on 7 May 2016 and a low of 13,500 versus Mainz 05 on 23 January 2016. Media Markt became the shirt sponsor on 3 May 2015, signing a three-year deal.
