“Fire” is a song by Canadian country music duo Autumn Hill from their debut album Favourite Mistake (2013). Written by Tareya Green, Jamie Appleby, and Alyssa Reid, the guitar-driven country pop ballad explores heartbreak in a self-destructive relationship that ends in metaphorical flames. It was released as the album’s third single on August 20, 2013, through Wax Records. The track, 3 minutes and 59 seconds long, was produced by Tawgs Salter. “Fire” topped the Canadian Country Singles Sales Chart for the week ending August 28, 2013. CBC Music praised the song for sparkling with spirited energy. A music video directed by Marc André Debruyne premiered on September 11, 2013. The song debuted at number 73 on the Canadian Hot 100 for the week ending September 7, 2013. In release order, it followed “Can’t Keep Waiting” and preceded “If She Wants This Town.”
