2014 Davis Cup
The 2014 Davis Cup was the 103rd edition of tennis’s men’s national team championship. The competition ran during 2014, with the final held November 21–23 in Lille, France. Switzerland won the title for the first time, defeating the host nation France in the final.
The World Group play-offs to decide the eight spots for the 2015 World Group involved the eight teams that lost in the first round and eight winners from the Zonal Group I finals. The draw took place on April 8 in London. For security reasons, some ties were moved to neutral venues, including matches involving Israel and Ukraine. Seeded teams received byes into the second round.
