2012 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship
The 2012 championship was the 118th staging of Kilkenny’s top hurling competition. It ran from 13 October to 11 November 2012, with 12 teams taking part and St. Canice's Credit Union as sponsor.
Ballyhale Shamrocks won the title, their 14th, beating Dicksboro 0-16 to 0-12 in the final. Ballyhale’s captain was David Hoyne and their manager was Tommy Shefflin. Dicksboro’s captain was David Glynn and their manager was Ger Henderson.
James Stephens were the defending champions but were eliminated in the semi-finals.
Dunnamaggin were relegated from the championship.
The top scorer was Martin Gaffney, with 1-33.
Across the tournament there were 12 matches, 26 goals, and 329 points scored.
