2011 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship
The 2011 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship took place in Puerto Rico from September 12 to 17. The games were played at Coliseo Héctor Solá Bezares in Caguas. Nine teams competed, and the United States won their sixth NORCECA title. Bethania de la Cruz was named MVP. By winning, the United States qualified for the 2011 FIVB Women's World Cup in Japan.
Teams that participated: Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, United States, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Cuba.
How the standings worked:
- If the match ended 3-0, the winner earned 5 points and the loser 0.
- If the match ended 3-1, the winner earned 4 points and the loser 1.
- If the match ended 3-2, the winner earned 3 points and the loser 2.
- If teams were tied on points, ties were broken by points ratio and then sets ratio.
