The 2009 Australia national rugby union tour was a seven-match series in November 2009. The Wallabies, coached by Robbie Deans and captained by Rocky Elsom, played five Test matches against England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and New Zealand. They did not achieve a Grand Slam, drawing with Ireland and losing to Scotland. They beat England and Wales, but were defeated by New Zealand and Scotland. Overall the tour record was 4 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses (4-1-2). The five Tests finished 2 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses.

Before the tour, Australia played a Bledisloe Cup match against the All Blacks. The touring party of 35 was announced on 8 October 2009. Tyrone Smith joined on 28 October to replace the injured Rob Horne, and Matt To’omua was called up after Berrick Barnes was injured in training.
