2006 South American Race Walking Championships

The 16th edition was held in Cochabamba, Bolivia, on April 8–9, 2006. The races took place along Paseo El Prado (Avenida Ballivián). World Athletics published a detailed report by Eduardo Biscayart, with the results. Complete results were published, and the junior events are listed on the World Junior Athletics History site. About 89 athletes from 9 countries were announced to participate; other sources list 93 athletes, and unofficial counts reach 107.
